About us

Archer Structures Ltd can meet, and often exceed, our client’s
requirements, utilising the wealth of experience available from key personnel. We offer a complete service, from Design, Manufacture, through to Installation within the Structural Steel Industry. In addition to the structural steel service Archer Structures Ltd have the in-house ability to undertake cladding design, supply and installation packages as required

Manufacturing is undertaken within our own purpose-designed workshop.
The workshop houses two 10 tonne overhead cranes, 12 number Butters welding machines and Geka 100 tonne Punch I Shear machine, all offering circa 900 hours per week work time for manufacture. Welding operatives coded to BS EN 287 -- 1 with procedure BSEN 288 - 3.

Design requirement undertaken by Structural Engineers with Bsc. CEng. MlStructE, with design and detail drawings modelled and compiled using StruCAD f TrueCAD I AutoCAD facilities.

Site surveys can be undertaken utilising the latest survey equipment.

All site operatives are directly employed and all are versed in RIDOR accident reporting methods, CDM regulations and carry current CITBI CPCS/ CSCS certification for use of plant apparatus etc. Site welders also hold current coding certification.

We cover all of mainland UK, Eire and Europe.
Our company carries public and employers liability insurance with £5 million and £10 million respectively.

Archer Structures have a positive and pro-active view of maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety on site. Our construction Directors are time served within the industry, having a combined total of approx 70 years of experience between them. Through their lead, the Company has adapted to the increasing demand for an improved Health & Safety initiative over the years.

The commitment to comply with, and often exceed the demands of, Health and Safety legislation has been coupled very effectively with a sound, practical understanding of the unique challenges faced by our operatives. The insight provided by this practical experience puts our key personnel in an enviable position to apply, not just the law but also the spirit of the law. We are not content merely to comply with legislation when the practical considerations on site require further commitment of resources. As a result, the record speaks for itself as testament to the commitment made by all members of the Company to work safely and considerately.
